It is a week long shark extravaganza on the discovery channel.
My favorite show is "AIR JAWS" where they study great whites in africa, and film the attacking seal and flying completely out of the water!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!
It's over with now, but will be back on next year. I think they said this was their 22nd year.

I can say that I'm not really a big fan. We have a guy in our club that won't even look at saltwater because he's deathly afraid of sharks.

I am kicking off a shark conservation network in our area (Florida Panhandle); I plan on taking out children/adolescents to catch small sharks, handle them and tag them to help in the study and conservation efforts.

I'm at http://www.saltwaternow.com and having never done a website before - this site looks like my tackle box - but brave on and go to http://www.saltwaternow.com/shark.html - our spotted sea trout fishery is awesome also.

You are not the only depressed. My family (one man (me) and three women) love it. My daughters love the shows and still quote from them.

It makes me want to go fly fishing for sharks. I heard you can do it out of San Diego, but I have never inquired.
