Fishing in some part of Alberta....

Okay I took a vow of secrecy. If the rains stay away fishing in some of the smaller Alberta streams may take a turn for the worse. Pools are not usually large and hold a limited number of fish. A little rain will be of some help here, not a lot just a day or two now and then.

More pictures. I actually have to shave before venturing too far afield. I keep getting darted and waking up in the bear exhibit at the Calgary Zoo....

You can see the wake of this fish. I saw him rising literally from uder that log that is pointing right at me. He took the dry about 6 inches away from being snagged....

I had not caught a Cutthroat in almost 30 years, so this was a special moment for me...
