Hi!

I don't see a spot for "Hello's" so I'll put mine here if that is okay.
My name is Kerry and I live in Alberta, Canada. I have been flyfishing since 1969 when I was 12 though the early years were probably closer to "fly thrashing" than actually fishing.
I grew up on Vancouver Island where I fished everywhere my parents would take me. In 1980 I moved up to Northeastern B.C. where I spent the next 23 years fishing Grayling, Rainbows, Dollies and Brook Trout.
I also discovered how much fun fishing Lake Whitefish could be on dry flies.
Currently I live close to Edmonton and usually end up travelling to fish The Bow River or further southwest to the Crowsnest, The Oldman and many other bodies of water.
I love tying, I build some of my own rods and do a bit of writing through the winter.
It is always nice to see a new site start to grow and I look forward to checking in from time to time to see how you all are doing. Take care.....Kerry

Hey I agree and I will add them as I can. The big problem for me is that I seldom take pictures and I allmost never handle fish to get pictures though I have a few. I did start taking more this year and hope to have a few more yet before winter hits again. Thanks for the request....Kerry

Hi Kerry,

Welcome! I think we are all new here. Sounds like you have lots to share. Fishing Colorado next week, heard whiting is a possibility. NO clue with whiting. Any suggestions.
