Description: Because of extreme snowpack, and a cool Spring, the eastern and northern slope waters above 11000 feet are only now beginning to offer excellent fishing for native cutthroat. The spawn is over, and activity has picked up substantially. Better get up there, people. It snowed up there today, 8/15/08. Gonna be a very short season.
